The start of the pond

We have decided to dig out a wildlife pond. It might not be a pond, it may be a bog garden. There is a very wet hollow in the field and so we're part way there, or so I thought! 

It's very heavy clay and hard going! Mike started me off and I'm now underway. It should keep me out of mischief for a wee while! There might be more interesting photos in the future!
