A Thousand a Day

Peregrine Falcon

Slightly more dramatic than blackbird Dad feeding his brood! The falcons are back on the Tyne, slightly upriver this time, under the Redheugh Bridge. Mother falcon's catch will no doubt have been well received by a trio of chicks. Last year's single chick sadly perished, not long after I blipped the falcons on June 12th. Things are looking more hopeful this time.
