House Red

I had almost given up finding anything today on the wildlife front when this little chap popped down to the birdbath for a drink. My title, if it wasn't obvious, is a play on words, the bird is a house finch and it's red.

Quite a difficult scene to process because of the contrast and deep shadows. Several brushes and masks to tone down the bright highlights and I should probably remove the one spot nearest the bird as it is quite a distraction.
