Blue Skies

Another cloud inversion today, so it has been very cold.  +3C.

Today a friend of mine turns 80.  To celebrate we had a cuppa and scone at the cafe down the hill from my place.  We had a lovely time, reminiscing about the old days!!  I walked home via the path by the lake. 

The first extra is of some tourists wearing the same outfit!!  After lunch I saw that there was a break in the clouds, so was hoping for a sunny photograph.  But no, just a bit of blue sky between the clouds.  The second extra is of the view towards the mountains.

Rain in the forecast, so maybe the cloud inversion will disappear.
