Screen Machine 15

One of the best ideas ever, Screen Machine has been at Holyrood today - with schoolchildren, MSPs & passers-by treated to a peek inside. Scotland's only mobile cinema tours the Highlands & Islands, bringing cinema to rural & remote areas. Celebrating 15 years on the road this year, there's a special expanded programme - with additional films - including We Are Northern Lights, new venues - including Orkney Islands, Eigg & Tiree & much more.

It's one my favourite things & not only have I been lucky enough to see films in Screen Machine 1 & 2 - SM2 is the current machine - but the Screen Machine team are the most passionate & enthusiastic supporters of rural arts audience & community development I've ever met.
