Froggy Friday

Took advantage of the sunshine this morning and went for a wander on the local Downs as I'd not been there for quite a while, and it's always been one of my favourite places!

Not many people about and not so much wildlife again although I did spot some Common Blues and Speckled Woods on the butterfly front, along with egrets, whitethroats, ravens and heard the cuckoo!  And I also heard these little ones, the Marsh Frogs, who were being very loud!  The noise they make is amazing - here's the link to a Youtube video if you've not heard their 'song! Marsh Frog song

Red Admiral in the garden this afternoon - hopefully a good sign that the butterflies are on their way back
