Summertime finally!

Made the most of the weather to wash and dry the new bedding and towels that have been bought for Carys for September. Gulp!

So Thursday Carys sees a specialist who orders an MRI. Referral sent before we left the building. Phonecall this morning (Friday) to book said MRI, Tuesday offered but we can't do so she is booked for Wednesday. 30mins later follow up appointment booked with consultant for review appointment a week Monday. Magic.

Tuesday went to walk in with Will. X-ray to be reviewed by consultant in the next 72 hours, someone will ring you. Splint applied. Wednesday no call. Thursday no call, Friday no call. I have rang the number provided five times this afternoon. It rings and rings and then cuts off the call. Sigh.

Now clearly one child is on private health care and one is in the NHS system. I love the NHS, I spent years working in the NHS. But the above does show how badly the NHS needs help to get back to the service we all deserve (and I include the staff in that).
