I swam at 8am the A&I walked to Moortown (1.5 miles) to have breakfast at Comptoir.

As we turned north onto Harrogate Rd, despite warm sunshine, we were hit by the northerly breeze. We passed the horse drawn hearse heading south to the funeral parlour on Regent st. The horses truly were black beauties with a wonderful leg action. What a spectacle!

The breeze dropped and the rest of the day was sunny and warm. The local forecast says we are in for a heatwave.
