A late afternoon walk along unlovely McEvoy Street with its mega pet barns, huge hardware warehouses, electricity sub-stations and smash repairers. The creative hoardings above surround a new apartment development - The Alex.

No actual koalas, but I did inadvertently and briefly separate a mother and baby ringtail possum the other night. And the rabbit is still hopping around the small reserve at dusk.
