My favourite bird …

…and by a big margin!
We see and hear Kookaburras every day at the farm but not usually on the 4th floor balcony in the city.
They are the most friendly, inoffensive and responsive birds and full of personality. Their eyesight from a distance is incredible, particularly if there’s a suggestion of something edible.
Back to the Mountains tomorrow, preferably without going anywhere near Chatswood (background in the blip).
