Shower

Today was a bit warmer. About same temperature as yesterday. About +17 at its highest, but fully sunny and lighter and warmer wind.

We were in the allotment in the evening, a couple of hours as usual. It hasn't really rained there for weeks, maybe in whole spring, although we have had it at home 2 km away. It's, of course, very dry. I have twice watered plants in the most urgent need of water. Now also the lawn has got yellow here and there, and rain isn't still forecast.

So it was time to put a sprinkler on the ground, not wait any longer. The sun was still shining, however it wasn't hot. It would have been better to wait for a while not to waste water letting it evaporate, but we couldn't stay that late.

The sprinkler in the picture looks tiny, but actually it showers a few square meters from one spot. It's very good in small yard, there's still space to move in other parts during the shower. As you see, this part of the lawn looks fresh. It's the wettest point in the yard, but looks here wetter than it really is.
