The Hoad

I'm finally up to date. I had 3 days this week when I was out all day, no chance to process photos or rather sift through them to decide what to Blip.
Went over to Ulverston today to meet some friends for a picnic lunch only to find that I had arrived a week early. Took my picnic lunch, clambered up the steep paths , in the heat !!! to the Hoad Monument and had my lunch overlooking Morecambe Bay. You can't tell from this photo that the monument is on the top of a small hill . This photo, that I took some years ago gives a better perspective and explains that its not a lighthouse
