Bridge of Orchy hotel

Don picked up me and my friend hitch hiking to Glencoe over fifty  years ago. Whe we came to the Bridge of Orchy Hotel he invited us to go in for a drink. Two weeks later he phoned and asked me out for a meal and the rest is history 
I am away with A for an overnight stay in the van. We went to Loch Etive where A had a swim and the up through Glencoe via the old road which brought back many memories of my hostelling days. We headed on towards Oban but stopped to stay at Appin beside the loch.
Beautiful sunny weather.
