Fruits of My Labor

What a wonderful workshop in making a leather-bound journal/sketchbook!  Our instructor was amazing, and the other attendees were such fun.  The little tan book was our "warmup", practicing the pamphlet stitch on three signatures.  Then on to the main event. I used a lovely goldenrod colored leather. I have to admit, my stiff fingers struggled a bit with poking the needle through the leather, but I persisted, and I love the result.  We finished with the little black haiku book with a Japanese stab binding.   A great day!
