The perfect spot

Just like yesterday it’s incredibly hot outside. I’m not doing much today. For dogs the heat is even worse and I’m not going out with Joey unless he has to. I’ve turned on the sprinklers, using a pump to get water from the Damsterdiep canal. Joey found this spot that sort of sprinkles him with water every now and then, but not that much. He really liked it there and seemed to be quite content to just stay there.
