I'm so glad I kept the label for this shrub as I would never have remembered its name.  Physocarpus opulifolius - Little Angel.  Its a really interesting shrub and I've never come across it before.  I bought it a few years ago because of the colour of the leaves and it was a lovely surprise to see some tiny white flowers appear in the summer, dark fruit will follow.  Its been quite an overcast day today but quite muggy.   Popped over to my neighbours this afternoon for a cuppa and catch up before they go on holiday.
