Gym

It may not look much in the (hastily grabbed) photo but I'm quite pleased with the allotment so far this year. It's the wet spring that did it.

I woke up too late this morning to drag myself running, partly as it was too hot and partly as I had a long list of garden, allotment and house chores to do before (a) No. 1 came over for (a late) lunch and (b) we go away next week. The last lots of washing needed doing - luckily it was almost dry before I'd finished hanging it out it was so warm - and the last of the baby plants needed putting in the garden / allotment (the netting on the left is the edge of mine, the people beyond that are much more annoyingly dedicated)where they'll have more chance of surviving than if they're in pots. Plus the watering. The watering. The watering. Does it ever stop?

Lunch was lovely; slow and slightly (quite) alcoholic with a side order of (BBQd) sausages, steak and salad cooked by Himself. When she's on form No. 1 is good fun; sadly she still struggles a lot most of the time so it doesn't always happen.  Today was a a good day.

Office tomorrow for a bit more mopping up after last week's car crash. Hopefully I'll make it to the gym after work too.
