Hotel l'Esperance

We arrived in Brussels around noon, after very easy travels. We spent the afternoon getting our bearings and trying to stay cool. We are staying in this little hotel because it was Judith Cladel's favourite in the 1920s... It's clear that she chose it to be near the theatres here (Theatre de la Monnaie, Theatre du Centre, Gaité) which she loved. Unfortunately the neighbourhood isn't quite what it was 100 years ago, but it's all very interesting even so. If friends have any recommendations for Brussels, especially restaurants we'd love to get them!
