Hailstorm

Massive hailstorm this afternoon.
The hail was the size of marbles. I know it can be much bigger but this was the worst hailstorm I’ve ever seen.
It was mesmerising watching the road outside from the safety of our home.
The noise on the flat roofs of the bay windows was so loud.
A torrential downpour brought gallons of water too.
It has cooled the air but my poor plants in the garden!

Later, we found our bedroom window was open. Amazed by the amount of water on the window sill and many soggy belongings :(
