In the other land of cheese :)

Had the most amazing lunch today at PESCA in Amsterdam. As you enter the restaurant, you are asked to choose you fish or seafood from a display of very fresh items and you are guided in your choice by a ‘fish master’ (see extra) who explains how the item(s) will be cooked and what sides you might consider to complement them.

Once you’ve made your selections, you move on to the wine bar, where another expert advises you on best wine selections for your dishes based on what your preferences are. From you seat in the dining room, you can see the kitchen and how your items are being prepared.

We had freshwater Dutch oysters, tuna ceviche, followed by monk fish, with a burrata salad and fries and we finished with a pavlova and espressos. A unique and very tasty experience!
