Purple....

The scorchio heatwave continues! And still no rain in Essex!!  the garden is suffering despite my best efforts and I've picked a lot of roses, sweet peas and peonies so I can enjoy them indoors instead of having them wilt in the heat!

Few errands to run this morning and some food shopping.  The aircon of the supermarket was difficult to leave haha! And a very quick walk round the nature reserve where the birds, other than greenfinches, were in hiding.  But lots of lovely purple Vetch added some colour, and considering this nature reserve was so badly damaged in the wildfires last Summer, it's lovely to see nature taking over again.
