Glowing

Something about the colour or surface of these irises seems to do funny things to my camera - they positively glow in every photo! They're short-lived but I do love them.

Had a decent day at work, if your idea of decent is a complaint about sick pay and a subsequent forensic review of the facts! Plus a very, very long meeting. Weirdly, I came home feeling quite happy. Must be all the sunshine and nice people I (mainly) work with.

Spent much of the evening helping my grandmother with moths, alarms and central heating! Again, it sounds terrible but was actually an opportunity for a nice chat and cup of tea.
