ALL ALONE

I felt so bad for this lonesome cow, dangerously close to the highway.
He made such a racket. Crying and turning his head side to side.
While we went to look for a ranch house, a pickup truck moved the cow down a side road, and away from traffic.

Couldn’t find a rancher and the cow ran towards our car. Feeling sure we had the answer to his problem. I felt so very sad. 

Then we heard another cow behind a fenced pasture crying and 
in stress.


Finally, we called the sheriff. I’m sure they know who the local ranchers are and how to get ahold of them.

We checked the next day and all looked good. No cows at all.
