Day 2

Lovely warm day - sun cream on.

Hubby up early for a bike ride (twice around the parc gave him his usual mileage).

Quietly eating breakfast on the patio, swan decided it wanted to join us resulting in us retreating back indoors and doors shut!

Set out about 10:45 for a walk around the site. Stopped off at the pub midday for lunch and refreshments. Continued with the walk (stopping every now and then to use the Merlin app to identify birds, and spotted this chaffinch feeding) and after grabbing a cold refreshing drink back to the lodge around 3pm. An hours siesta needed! Doors open, this time the coot and its babies wanted to come in and at one point the squirrel was eyeing the indoors up - doors closed again.

Lovely meal tonight in one of the restaurants and a leisurely walk back. Clocked up just over 14,000 steps.
