A Day For Looking At Water

The day began as usual for a Wednesday with The Mother and I doing the shopping, drinking coffee and having lunch in town.

In the afternoon we had a visit from gentlemen from the council and the Environment Agency to discuss the regular flooding of our garden and the one opposite. We're no nearer to preventing it happening again but at least they came to see us, listened to what we had to say and seemed to be taking the matter seriously.

I bought this Dicentra last year and was pleased to see it has survived!
