Border - Before

The gardeners came today and have been working on the borders. So today’s picture is of one of the borders before work started. They did not get much of this border cleared, but some of the others are looking good especially where the lavenders have been planted. Unfortunately, the deer, who are not supposed to like lavender, have pulled up and eaten some of them; or something else has been feasting!
 
The temperature at noon today was twenty-five degrees Celsius.
