Here's to you, Nelissen

After work we walked up the hill with a salad and a bottle of wine in my cooler bag. I wanted to do some drawing at the Jean Nelissen monument and convince Bert to sit down and read, so I bought him an e-book from the series of travel stories by Frank van Rijn. I know he likes the stories and he wouldn't get bored.

It turned out to be a good idea. We ate the salad, enjoying the view and poured the wine. Only then did I know what I was going to draw. I have my drawing in the extra. Completely out of proportion, but when I leaf through the booklet in the future, the memory of our leisurely picnic will be a happy one.
