A Biggie!

This is as big a maypole as I’ve seen and it’s situated in a pretty small village! We’d swung past in between visits to S’s mum, really just to stretch our legs but also to sit out at the Café Habersetzer and enjoy the view. Happily, I also got to enjoy my best slice of Käsekuchen so far this summer!
We’ve decided to bail on our trip to Berlin next week but that’s OK, we can nip up there another time and family comes first. And it gives us more terrace time - which is exactly where we are just now, enjoying the peace for a couple of hours before the sun sets and it cools down. We’re not into wrapping up in blankets so will then call it!
