At Last

........ my rose is blooming ........ and really putting on a show this year - I’ve added an extra, snapped on my phone this morning from the bedroom window - to give it some scale, the fence you can see on the right is 6 foot high and this is just one plant - it gets bigger every year despite a good pruning in the autumn and it absolutely fills the garden with scent ;-))

A visit to the opticians today - apparently my eyes have changed a little but borderline for needing new glasses, so I think I’ll wait for now. A couple of other ‘ advisories’ but nothing major thankfully, phew ;-)
