Kittiwakes

Drove up to Newcastle to have dinner with our niece and her boyfriend. Arrived early so called in at the Baltic art centre on the banks of the Tyne. There we saw a retrospective of Chris Killip's photographs. Most of those on show were taken around the North East and the Isle of Man in the 1970s and 1980s. Anyway we had to run the gaunlet from the car park to the entrance as the path passes underneath kittiwakes nesting on the side of the old flour mill. Extras show the views from the Gateshead Millennium Bridge along the Tyne and across to the Baltic. Thanks to RockArea for hosting.
