Descending Cadair Idris

Perfect weather for a stroll up Cadair Idris.
We went a different route to what we all have previously done, though I had done part of this walk many years ago. It was fantastic to see a different side to my favourite mountain.
Littlest one managed it really well, much to the amazement of other walkers. The boys love the drama of the landscape and 'tackling the terrain'.
We veered off the main trail to descend the mountain in a circular route, which is when I took this picture.
I love the wide glacial valleys and the colours and textures of the hills.
