We've been to the fantastic Harry Potter tour today for the first time and loved it. There were so many things to look at that my eyes are tired from taking it all in!

We had fun peeping behind the scenes, and finding out more about the making of the films. The final room on the tour was a room full of wand boxes, one for each person who worked on the films (4000!) We enjoyed seeking out our friends wand box as he was involved in the films, and took a photo for him.

I loved the sets, including this one of the potions lab. The detail in the props is really amazing. The model of Hogwarts was loads bigger than we'd expected - and the photos I took didn't do it justice - but it was incredible to see it in real life.

Brilliant start to our holiday.
