Deeply Superficial

Raised

Its amazing how everyone's experience of the place they lived in for most of their lives are so perpetually different and changing. I can truly say that no one's story is the same. Yet we are often so drawn to these stories and differences and experiences; reading, listening, hearing, observing and learning through the lens of several and one. Where you a raised can define parts of you and none of you. Cities are mysterious things of the modern civilization. To scratch the surface of city life is to tunnel through back-washed ideals and fundamental values that boil down to how the accumulation of our stories are dealt with and emphasized; defining moments. What is it to truly experience community in urbanity?

As Christians, how can we be countercultural in a postmodern society in a profound and Christ-like way?
