Chaffinch

I don't have many Chaffinches visit my bird feeders but as I was standing by the kitchen window watching the sparrows Mr C flew in and settled on my shed roof ..... turned my back to grab my camera and of course he was gone in those few seconds.

I kept my camera round my neck just in case he reappeared and he did make another brief appearance.

Another blisteringly hot day but a bit of a breeze made things just fractionally more bearable.

Gardeners coming tomorrow and to quote Kieran 'We'll give it a good tIdy'.
