Malahide Castle

Back to Dublin again today -- this time disembarking a load of passengers and taking on a new lot.

This afternoon, we took a trip to Malahide Castle which was very interesting.  This is a photograph of the windows in the oldest part of the castle -- a dark oak-paneled room with wonderful gothic windows looking out onto the grounds.

We then boarded a boat in the town of Howth and sailed across Dublin Bay back to our ship which was moored in the Liffey River.  A lovely sunny afternoon!
