The smell of newly cut grass.....

.....is usually a negative thing. It means my hayfever is about to kick in. Itchy nose, watering eyes and explosive sneezes. Not pleasant. However today i could actually smell the sweet, warm smell of the hay. My sense of smell had deserted me years ago but today the smell of newly cut grass could be enjoyed without accompanying sneezes. Long may it continue. Oh and i liked the weeping willow in the photo.
Grateful for some time in the garden, warm summer sun and aa cycle ride.
