Poppies.

I always like red poppies. There have been poppies hereabouts for years, I remember picking a few in early 1960s. These are at the field margin of (what is) a cereal field; I liked it the year they grew succulent garden peas.

We walked on the wee beach and the pier later. A lovely warm afternoon. More new graduates around, many photographs being taken as their time at University comes to an end.

In the News the long awaited “House of Commons, Committee of Privileges, Matter referred on 21 April 2022 (conduct of Rt Hon Boris Johnson): Final Report” was published. It concluded the former Prime Minister lied repeatedly and deliberately.

Public memories Covid-19? “All guidance was followed. There was no party…..” And that my friends working in Public Health found his UK Government hard to work with during Covid-19 period.
