Brockwell Park: Black-tailed Skimmer

Crisper in large

Mum brought an injured robin fledgling up for me to guard (it had crashed into the kitchen window then had to be saved from the cats) so I took some pictures of it before we nestled it in a towel to recuperate, but I am not posting those to blip because it didn't survive which made the photos feel less positive... Boo. At least it was quiet and safe when it stopped breathing.
So, I went to Brockwell Park en route to a meeting at Brixton, and was pleased to find lots of dragonflies (mostly moving...) and a single skipper.
