Tromsø, the Arctic Cathedral, and the Sherpatrappa

Today we decided to climb Fløya, the mountain across the fjord from Tromsø island. You can get part way up by the cable car but, as you know, we like a walk so we decided to tackle the "sherpatrappa". This is the 1203 stone steps built up the mountainside by Nepalese construction workers. It was tough! I kept telling myself that it was only 6 lots of Whitby steps but it seemed much further. After reaching the summit, a couple of miles from the top of the steps, we then had to come down again. The legs are feeling it now!
