Laugharne

The hut in which Dylan Thomas used to write, overlooking the sea at Laugharne. I happened to pass by on my cycle, so I stopped and visited - the tiny boathouse where he and Caitlin lived too, with three children, and their grave with it’s simple wooden cross. Then a two hour very uphill ride to Carmarthen, which really didn’t impress me - and two hours back to the other side of the bay - from where I could see Laugharne again - there used to be a ferry, from a place called ferryside - but sadly no longer… would have saved a lot of sweat.
