Aquamarine/Nanna K's Day

The Golden Hour

We heard a weather report saying it might be raining and  cold by the time we got to the island late afternoon.   It did drizzle on the way.     Well,  pleasant surprise,   It was sunny and warm and  calm and not crowded for Friday late afternoon when we got to the marina.    3 cart loads to boat.   And H and I managed to drag 1 cart load up the hill and were preparing the second when hark! Our neighbors to the west ( with green meadow) were taking an after dinner walk and he , strong man, practically ran it up by himself.   (2nd extra) (Whew,  H was supposed to be doing no heavy lifting or big exercise for a few  days ..haha,   No chance of that ! ) Anyway, lovely timing and help at any time!    We sat on the deck with storebought  chowder and watched 2 paddle boards make a big circle and then after dinner we went to the dock around 9 to put the boat to sleep and I got the extra photo looking up the ramp ( which also corporated with a high tide) and with the paddle boards and then the beach where we went to sit on the log in bottom center of extra to watch the sun go down.
My idea of bliss. .  ,!!
