The Perfect Lunch

M had one of his favourite lunches today, cheese, crackers and a glass of red wine. I indulged with a tuna, egg and olive salad. The enjoyment of both was enhanced by listening to the birds and humming insects from the summerhouse.

We have some high-level cloud today which has made it slightly less hot. I’m off to an organised photoshoot at the beach between Cley and Blakeney Point this afternoon. We are being led by an expert on the flora and fauna of the North Norfolk coast, so hope to learn about some of the shingle-dwelling plants and flowers.
