Gamle Bergen
Today Mrs CBL and I visited Gamle Bergen/Old Bergen an open air living museum on the outskirts of the city.  It has 50 wooden houses which have been reconstructed on the site to be representative of Bergen in the 19th and 20th centuries.

Actors walk you through the houses and make the history come alive.  They also performed, in English , a short play in the square in the centre of the village.  Mrs CBL had a walk-on part and spoke her lines confidently!
