Well an amateur botanist. She knows much more than I do.

The most unusual thing about this shot is the colour of the grass in the foreground.
It is rarely like that in the middle of June.
The forecast claims that later today we have a 70% chance of significant rain and possibly thunder. We very much hope that is right.
