another moth appearing in the garden! Makes a change from the blue butterflies which are still around in high numbers!

A happy start to the day - our 'uninvited' rodent visitor in the utility room has voluntarily left! He'd not gone near the traps we left overnight but as we moved the freezer this morning to do another tidy up he shot out - huge rat!! - and disappeared over the wall to our neighbours garden! The ones who don't like wildlife haha! Ssshhh don't tell them lol! So I've put some peppermint and eucalyptus oil by the door now as that's supposed to deter them from returning so we shall see!

A storm overnight hasn't cleared the air at all and it feels even more humid!! More cloud about today but still dry so have managed some garden pruning, which is where this guy was uncovered!

Dad is also enjoying his relaxing fathers' day! Got him a load of old retro sweets - hope he shares!!
