Protective.....

We had a minor victory today! A footpath at Trentham Gardens which has been closed off for a few months due to the introduction of the beavers has now been opened again.

We could understand why they didn't provide pedestrian access to this area when fencing was put up around the estate to keep the beavers from escaping!! As they had done so around the lake. We had complained many times and contacted the management team. 

It's slightly off the beaten track and away from the gardens and lake. And for those reasons we enjoyed walking there. And it's full of wildlife. To prove it this photo of a Nursery web spider and her egg-sac was taken in this spot....
