Scarborough Mini-Blipmeet

As soon as we knew we were going to spend the weekend in Scarborough, we thought it would be lovely to see if blipper Riversider was available to join us for a mini-blipmeet, as he lives nearby. Happily he was able to be free for a coffee and a walk this morning, and we had a lovely catchup, with (somewhat misty) Scarborough as a background.

While there we saw the pirate ship Hispaniola sailing the Spanish Main Scarborough Bay, so naturally it had to appear here as an extra. It brought back happy memories of holidays here with our lads many years ago when they loved to sail the high seas as pirates!

Happy Fathers' Day to all dads everywhere. We had a lovely phone call from Sons #2&3 , and a Skype call from Son#1 (plus our baby grandson in Ontario) - Son#1 was of course enjoying his first ever Fathers' day as a Dad!
