Capturing my Journey

The view

In the morning I headed to the ranch with husband to help move some heifers down there. It didn't go to plan no matter what we did they kept breaking back so a decision was made to use the float trailer. These were the trouble makers that made our first move of the 1000 heifers a challenging experience. Glad to have them where they should be. I then went to help husband check the steers at their grazing at swamp lake which is another parcel of land owned by the ranch but about 5 miles away. Husband was finishing a section of electric fence and I was in charge of turning said fence on and off as he made final connections and testings of it before letting the steers through. Then we headed into town to get some bits and pieces. We have been invited to apply for residency in Canada and have 60 days to get a lot of paperwork in and forms filled, checks done etc. We are working through the list bit by bit!
