Dragon skin?

We went up to B and N's for dinner for Father's Day - N and baby James now have matching socks! Rab was given a lovely selection of beers and James kept us entertained the whole time :-)
I thought the marks left from removing some old wire fencing looked like scales and only a dragon or a dinosaur would be big enough for scales like that!
