Peony Portrait

I love all my peonies but the white ones are my absolute favorite.  The way they catch the light is so beautiful.  I always think of Georgia O'Keeffe when I see one like this.  I rescued this one before the heavy rains and it looked lovely in the morning light on my breakfast table.  Still threats of afternoon rain but, for now, the sun is shining.  Gift#169: a break in the rain.
